Where Creativity

meets connection

ArtHouse Social is a free art group for young adults aged 18–25 with learning differences. We meet twice a month in South Woodford to create art, chat, and make friends. Plus monthly trips to the cinema, parks, and pubs. No pressure, no judgment — just a space where you can be yourself

A space to

grow together

Our sessions are relaxed and fun — small, friendly groups where the same people come each time. You'll get to know everyone, make proper friends, and just enjoy being creative together.

Art Sessions

Meet twice a month on a Friday evening from 6.30-8pm to paint, draw, and make things together. Chat, listen to music, and decide what you want to create. Led by Ella, who's really lovely and is a qualified creative therapist. No art skills needed — just come and have fun.

Small Groups

The same people come each time (around 8 of us), so you get to know everyone properly and friendships grow naturally.

Always Free

Sessions are completely free. Some outings cost a bit (like cinema tickets), but we keep it affordable. Money should never stop you from joining.

Monthly Outings

Cinema trips, park walks, pub visits, and more. Real-world adventures designed to build confidence and practice social skills in a supportive group.

Joining is easy

No pressure, no commitment until you're ready. We want you to feel completely comfortable

WHO WE'RE FOR

Is this group right for you?

ArtHouse Social is designed for independent young adults aged 18–25 with learning differences, neurodivergence, or similar support needs who want to build friendships and create in a welcoming, judgment-free space.

This group works well if you:

Can travel to sessions independently

Feel comfortable in group settings without one-to-one support

Can manage your own personal care

Might be working, at college, volunteering, or looking for work

Want to make friends and be more independent

What we don't have:

We don't have medical staff or carers at sessions — it's Ella and the group. This setup works brilliantly for building friendships and independence, but it does mean we can't support people who need higher support needs right now.

If you're not sure whether it's right for you, just get in touch for a chat — no pressure. And if we're not the right fit at the moment, we're hoping to offer different types of groups in the future as we grow.

READY?

Come and create with us

Sessions are free. Outings are affordable. All you need is a willingness to connect.
